The Frankfort Township Animal Control Officer Karen Zobjeck addresses animal complaints on a daily basis with many other duties, to assure safety for pets and owners. The ACO office is located at:

Please report all missing or found animals and if needed, leave a message anytime day or night at 815-469-4907 ext. 3712. All efforts are made to reunite pets back with their families. If no owner is located, the animals are evaluated and put up for adoption through shelters and resources all working in conjunction with the ACO.
Yearly pet ID Tags are required for all dogs and cats within the Frankfort Township boundaries. The cost is $5.00 for the tag and registration. A copy of vaccinations is required for each pet. Tags may be purchased at the Frankfort Township or the Village Hall.
Services do not include nuisance wildlife, we do have referrals.
