The Frankfort Township Road District is responsible for many services in the township, ranging from bike path construction, to curb and sidewalk repair and including the mowing of parkways. The Road District clears and maintains 65 miles of roads in unincorporated areas.

US Route 30 Project
The Illinois Department of Transportation has started a project to reconstruct and widen US Route 30. This project will extend from Willims Street in New Lenox to Harlem Avenue in Frankfort. The project will run from April 1, 2011 (start of work) thru September 30, 2012 (completion date). More information on this project - including a map of the work zone - please click here.
