Services: Meals on Wheels

If you or a loved one is in need of Meals on Wheels, you will need to first contact our On-Site Mangager, Patricia Backus. If you have any questions about the process for getting meals on wheels, our staff will be there to assist you.

Please feel free to contact our main office at (312) 207-5290.
MEALS
Our meals are designed to be nutritious and cater to the adult appetite. The menu is low in salt, calorie-controlled, and individually portioned. Most importantly, each meal is nutritionally balanced and tasty.
We also offer a diabetic dessert for appropriate clients.
A complete nutritional analysis is available for clients to discuss with their physician or dietitian.
COST
The Nutrition Program is a donation-based program. All participants are asked to donate towards the meal's cost. No one will be denied services if they are unable or unwilling to make a donation.
Home Delivered Meal participants are sent a monthly donation reminder. The donation reminder indicates the number of meals served and the total suggested donation. Cash and checks are gladly accepted.
Home Delivered Meals are delivered between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
- Will County Senior Services at 815-740-4225.
Please remember to inform us if you will not be home for your meal delivery by calling 815-726-0094.
This will help us order an accurate number of meals, save the volunteer drivers a trip to your home, and prevent the CCU from trying to locate you!
