Due to the severe storms over the weekend, our Township has experienced significant storm damage.

Our Highway Department is working diligently to address the many issues as quickly and safely as possible.

in the order it is received and as conditions allow.

Stormwater

Frankfort Township Road District holds a General National Pollutant Discharge Eliminatin System Permit from the Illinois EPA for stormwater discharges from its municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4). To protect water quality, the MS4 Permit requires that the Frankfort Township Road District develop and implement a stormwater management program designed to reduce the discharge of pollutants from its stormwater system to the maximum extent practicable. Links are provided below to the Frankfort Township Road Districts MS4 Stormwater Management Plan, Notice of Intent to comply with the MS4 Permit, and annual reports.
